YSTUDIO's Glamour Series introduces the Ocean Sustainable Rollerball Pen: a creation born from a love for the sea. The pen derives its name from Taiwan, surrounded by the sea on all sides, while also reflecting the source of its material — discarded fishing nets. With this series, YSTUDIO showcases their passion for valuing and preserving objects, aiming to extend their service life to alleviate the burden on our planet.
Encased in the hexagonal shaped pen is a Schmidt Rollerball Refill, providing both comfortablility and an ever so smooth writing experience.
Please be aware of the potential presence of a minor amount of sea litter in the pen, which may appear as tiny spots on the pen’s surface. This is normal and due to the recycled nature of the material.

With a commitment to sustainability, this pen is crafted using:
1. Reclaimed waste fishing nets from Taiwan.
2. Using recycled ocean nylon can reduce carbon emissions by about 83%.
3. Ensures the highest environmental standards, with the raw materials passing EU RoHS, REACH certification, also meeting the GRS global recycling standard.
4. Utilizing low-lead / low-nickel brass components, ensuring the lead content is below 0.01%
5. Outer packaging is made from FSC certified paper, promoting responsible forest management.

A letter to a loved-one of a bygone era. This intimate letter could be kept and never sent, the focus was about writing a personal letter you always wanted to write. In a private setting, behind a desk, teamed with some beautiful letter paper and a YSTUDIO pen of their choice, participants were sometimes in tears, and it seemed all were impressed with the power of the words they just wrote. The powerful emotions it can elicit — the weight of their words.
What we love about YSTUDIO is that they have perfectly balanced the (literal) weight of their writing tools. The minute we picked up a pen and gave it a try, it clicked.
